2013 New Market Rebels Promotional Nights The Rebels have added some new promotions in addition to the traditional nights that fans look forward to each season. Birthday babies receive free admission all season!—If your birthday falls on the same date as any home game at Rebel Park, you will receive free admission with a valid ID. Come celebrate your special day with the New Market Rebels! Mt. Jackson and Route 11 Potato Chips Night --June 7th The Rebels welcome and honor our friends from the Mount Jackson community and celebrate our newly formed friendship with our favorite local chippers. Shenandoah Memorial Hospital Night--June 12th Rebel Against Cancer! -- June 16th It's a PINK OUT! Join the Rebels in the fight against breast cancer. Wear PINK to show your support. A donation jar will be placed at the concession stand to gather funds for breast cancer research and awareness. Survivors and those lost will be honored during the game. Contact the webmaster or drop in to the Rebel Yell Souvenir Stand during a game to see how you can have the name(s) of your choice added to the Memorial & Survivors page. Mo
Weber Birthday Night--June 23rd Rebels Baseball Camp Night--June 28th Youngsters that have attended one of the baseball camps will be welcomed as they join players on the field before the game. Wear your camp shirt and receive free entry to the game! Luray Night--July 3rd Help us welcome our across the gap neighbors to Rebel Park. Anyone wearing Luray Wrangler gear will receive $1.00 off
the $5.00 admission price and anyone wishing to trade in their Wrangler hat or
shirt for a Rebel hat or shirt will receive 20% off. Fans will also have chances to win prizes by answering Luray based trivia between innings. The Rebels will recognize the great rivalry that existed with the Wranglers in pre-game ceremonies. So scoot over and clear some bleacher space as we welcome the Luray fans to the New Market fold. Parent's Weekend -- July 5th & 6th Host families and player families will be welcomed and recognized these nights. Sym-phony Night--- July 5th With the emphasis on PHONY ! The featured musician of the evening will be you! We’ll be inducting the entire crowd into the New Market Rebels’ Sym-Phony and encouraging fans to bring whatever instrument that you might play for what will no doubt be an inspiring version of “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” during the 7th inning stretch. Full Moon Night---July 21st Moonlight madness will ensue with out of this world trivia and a give-away or two. Little League Night---TBA The Rebels welcome players and coaches from the Mount Jackson-New Market Little League. Players will join the Rebels on the field prior to the game. Little Leaguers in uniform receive free admission to the game--all season long! Grand Stand Managers Night---TBA Help us express our appreciation to the booster organization that not only supports the Rebels but also local Little League teams. GSM: For all you do--this night's for you! Membership information will be available at the game--come join the fun and make a difference to your community. American Legion Night---TBA It's FLAG DAY! Come out to the ballpark and join us as we honor the Stars and Stripes and the heroes that have proudly served her. Local American Legion members will honor Rebel Park by presenting the colors. Senior Citizen Night --TBA All senior citizens pay just $1.00 for admission Fire and Rescue Night---TBA We will be welcoming our local volunteers and heroes at Rebel Park. Come on out and show your appreciation to those men and women who give their time and effort in order to provide aide in times of trouble. Rotary Night-- TBA The Rebels will pay tribute to our local Rotarians. Law Enforcement Night--TBA Come on down and have more fun than should be legal as the Rebels honor the men and women who are sworn to serve and protect. Mo Weber Annual Golf Tournament--TBA Tee-times start at: Players, parents, and the public are welcome to sign up and play at the Shenvalee Golf Course. Prizes will be given for longest drive and closest to the pin. 8 tee times beginning at 9am. Contact Charlie Dodge (477-9542) to register your team. Space is limited! Scout Night---TBA Admission is free for ALL Scouts (Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, Brownies, Boy Scouts, etc) Local Scouts will present the colors, join players on the field for pre-game acknowledgments, and share information about their programs and community service projects. Chamber of Commerce Night--TBA Come rub elbows with local business owners in a casual atmosphere Reading with the Rebels Night--- TBA A follow up to our traditional reading activity. Reading with the Rebels @ Bayse Library---TBA Player's Brunch --June 8th-- at Manor Memorial Methodist Church Local church and community groups will be hosting the Rebels at an introductory brunch. This gathering aims to introduce and welcome Rebels players and coaches to the New Market community. Challenger Baseball Game----June 15th This community service project gives Rebels coaches and players the opportunity to interact with their community. Players will help coach and guide Little Leaguers during a game. Reading with the Rebels--- TBA For children of all ages!
